As we age, our body's ability to repair slows down. This is what makes understanding and strengthening the best possible positioning and movements of our body so important. With Yoga we learn to minimize ware and tear, practicing the best functional ways to move, while strengthening our joints, bones, and muscles.

I began teaching yoga over 30 years ago in 1992 at the age of 26, but my love of yoga began many years before that. I have always felt the practice of yoga to be somewhat miraculous. Learning to understand the anatomic and biomechanics of the human body and to teach it to others, is simply exciting to me. The inner journey vast as outer space! I guess that makes me a bit of a yoga nerd. A badass yoga nerd ;-)
